Tenth in a 2022 project of monthly releases. October, from "eight" in latin. Then this confusing blunder happened through history and we got the tenth month to be represented by octo, and the twelfth by ten (decem). But numbers are words, and words are music. Like Hendrix when he asked what "If a 6 turned out to be 9", he didn't mind. Anything can be anything - just like this October. A truly odd piece in this calendar. I set out for a kind of vocal or choral exploration, but got lost in a whirlwind and landed on a continent I've never known. Great fun though. Hope you enjoy.
